March on Film

This month went by so fast it was like a blur. First, one of my friends, Greg, moved back to Chicago so Sam and I had a lot of fun hanging out with him again. Sam also moved out this month so we went on a lot of adventures before she left Chicago. That includes one last trip on the blue line, Chinatown, lots of shopping, hanging out with friends, and watching the river get dyed green. Just for everyone to know since I mention her a lot, Sam was my roommate and is one of my best friends. Besides the usual stress of school it was also fun and definitely interesting this quarter. I made my first website and started working on my portfolio.
It was also a huge, emotional month. I had a really hard time after Sam moved out, most of it was because I missed her and also because I have never lived by myself before, it was a lot to handle and get used to.
Even though it didn't happen this month, it did start near the end, I also had to deal with losing my rat, Monty. After moving into my new apartment and coming home for spring break on the 29th, Monty started to get sick and on April 2, he passed away. So this was my last month I got to spend with him.
Every month is different and new things happen but this was probably one of the most emotional months I've had in a really long time and I made it through. Hopefully April will be a little better.
